Description
APR Cat-Back Exhaust System CBK0021 is a single-inlet, four-outlet kit with a split-rear exit. Its 304 stainless steel construction has a natural system finish, and the system includes hardware and two brushed 304 stainless steel mufflers. The mufflers use a dual-inlet/dual-outlet, perforated-tube design and include a provision for the electronic muffler flap motor.
Three-inch intermediate piping feeds the dual mufflers, with four 2.50-inch tailpipes and four polished, round 4.00-inch tips. The tips have slanted cuts and single-wall, non-rolled edges. APR describes the straight-through mufflers as smoothing the exhaust note to a deep growl, while a Helmholtz resonator is intended to reduce unwanted frequencies.
The system features TIG-welded components, low-profile packaging described as suitable for lowered vehicles, and larger-diameter piping and tips compared with stock.
