Description
The Borla S-Type Cat-Back Exhaust System (part number 140687; Summit Racing part number BOR-140687) is designed for 2016-and-newer Chevrolet Camaro SS 6.2L V8 rear-wheel-drive, two-door models with automatic or manual transmission. It fits models equipped with Dual Mode Exhaust (NPP) or a dual split rear-exit bumper. It does not fit convertibles.
This 3-inch system is intended for vehicles with significant upgrades that call for a larger-diameter exhaust and is recommended for use with long-tube headers. Its merge X-pipe is designed to support performance and sound. The kit uses 304 stainless steel with a natural finish and includes two turbo-style mufflers, hardware, and four polished 4-inch round tips with slanted cuts and rolled edges. The tips have 2.25-inch tailpipe connections. The system has a dual-in/four-out layout and a split-rear exit.

Although the system fits vehicles equipped with NPP, it does not include the Dual Mode valves. On vehicles equipped with AFM, installation will activate a check engine light. The system may also be used with the dual-tip lower bumper cover to convert a single split-rear exit to a dual split-rear exit.
