Description
The Borla S-Type Cat-Back Exhaust System (140838CF) is designed for the C8 Corvette and includes both AFM and NPP dual-mode exhaust valves. Its S-Type sound has a deep, aggressive yet balanced tone, designed to add character without exhaust drone.
Polyphonic Harmonizer technology combines exhaust notes from pipes of different diameters and lengths. Borla’s SwitchFire design eliminates the turbulent center intersection found in a standard X-pipe and blends combustion pulses from both sides of the engine.
- Cat-back, dual-in/four-out system with split-rear exits
- 304 stainless steel construction with natural finish; 2.75-inch intermediate pipes and 3-inch tailpipes
- Two 304 stainless steel turbo mufflers, each with a single inlet and dual outlets

Sold as a kit. After installation, the AFM and NPP exhaust-valve controllers should be recalibrated according to GM Document ID 5406413. Borla recommends having this service performed at a Chevrolet dealer.
