Description

Scott’s Hot Rods 4-Bar Rear Suspension Kit F-43-94-PT is designed for 1953–1956 Ford F-100 trucks with a Ford 9-inch axle. Its equal-length parallel four-bar layout and long, perpendicular adjustable panhard bar are designed to limit lateral movement. The suspension package has a bare finish and is sold as a kit.

This package includes Ridetech single-adjustable coilovers with black springs, a sway bar, adjustable panhard bar, adjustable upper and lower trailing arms, spherical-bearing bushings, trailing-arm mount braces, and trailing-arm hardware. The panhard bar and both pairs of trailing arms are double adjustable. The axle bracket has a 4-inch lower-bar offset for a higher ride height.

  • CNC-machined 1 1/8-inch-diameter, 1/4-inch-wall DOM tubing link and panhard bars, adjustable with right- and left-hand threads
  • CNC-machined stainless steel rod ends and FK Bearing heim joints, with right- and left-hand threads
  • Upper shock crossmember, rear-end housing brackets, front frame brackets, and 5/8-inch Grade 8 hardware

The adjustable links allow setup and pinion-angle adjustment without unbolting the bars. The parallel four-bar design maintains pinion angle through suspension travel, unlike a triangulated four-link arrangement.

Third member, axle shafts, air bags, rotors, and calipers are not included. Scott’s describes its kits as carrying a lifetime guarantee.
