Description
Scott’s Hot Rods IFS Package 11-5356-1MW2 is designed for 1953–1956 Ford F-100 Base models with an L6 engine and rear-wheel drive. The kit uses a steel, natural-finish crossmember and a 5 x 4 1/2-inch wheel bolt pattern. Installation requires welding.
The package combines tubular steel upper and lower control arms, upper and lower ball joints, forged-steel natural-finish spindles with a 2-inch drop, and hydraulic power-assist rack-and-pinion steering. It includes inner and outer tie-rod ends and tie-rod sleeves. The rack is aluminum with a natural finish.

The package’s IFS design uses adjustable tubular control arms and rack-and-pinion steering. Scott’s Hot Rods describes its IFS packages as chassis-specific, with suspension and steering geometry designed for the application.
