The VEGE remanufactured long block crate engine, part number 518F, is an assembled 1.5L (1493cc) engine intended as a replacement foundation for the vehicle application recommended for this engine. VEGE reverse-engineers these engines to address original defects. Certified technicians recondition the long block to factory specifications, replacing wearable parts or machining them to OE standards. The engines are tested and calibrated as part of the remanufacturing process.
