The VEGE 534D is a remanufactured, assembled 2.2L long-block crate engine for the 1997–2001 Honda Prelude Base with a 2.2L DOHC VTEC four-cylinder application. It is naturally aspirated and uses 16 valves, multi-point fuel injection and a sequential fuel injection system. VEGE states that its engines are reverse-engineered to address original defects, then reconditioned by technicians to factory specifications. Wearable parts are replaced or machined to OE standards, and the engines are tested and calibrated. This engine is sold individually.
