The VEGE DFAW is a remanufactured long block crate engine with a 4.6L (281 cu. in.) Ford Modular engine family configuration. It is assembled with an aluminum cylinder head, cast-iron block, SOHC cam style, internal balance and a one-piece rear main seal. Cylinder heads and a timing cover are included.
VEGE describes its remanufactured long blocks as reconditioned to factory specifications. Wearable parts are replaced or machined back to OE standards, and the engines are tested and calibrated. This engine includes an oil pump and gasket.

The intake manifold, carburetor, throttle body, distributor, oil pan, valve covers, water pump, harmonic balancer, flexplate, flywheel, air cleaner, spark plugs, spark plug wires, computer, wiring harness and supercharger are not included.
