The VEGE VDF8 is a remanufactured long block crate engine with an actual displacement of 4.7L/287. It is supplied assembled and is intended as a foundation for a replacement or build. Confirm that this is the engine recommended for your vehicle before ordering.
VEGE says its long blocks are reverse-engineered to address original defects, then reconditioned by technicians to factory specifications. Wearable parts are replaced or machined back to OE standards, and the engines are tested and calibrated.
Included: cylinder heads, oil pan, timing cover, oil pump, and gasket. The engine is sold individually.
Not included: intake manifold, carburetor, throttle body, distributor, valve covers, water pump, harmonic balancer, flexplate, flywheel, air cleaner, spark plugs, spark plug wires, computer, wiring harness, or supercharger.
