The VEGE DB57 is a remanufactured long block crate engine with an actual displacement of 3.8L (231 cu. in.). It is assembled and sold individually. VEGE describes its remanufactured long blocks as replacement foundations for stock vehicles and potential retrofits; confirm the recommended application for your vehicle before ordering.
VEGE says each engine is reverse-engineered to address original defects, then reconditioned by certified technicians to factory specifications. Wearable parts are replaced or machined to OE standards, and the engines are tested and calibrated.
