The VEGE DCU4 is a remanufactured, assembled long block crate engine with an actual displacement of 3.4L/207 cu. in. VEGE describes its remanufactured long blocks as replacement foundations for stock vehicles and notes that some may be retrofitted to other applications. VEGE reverse-engineers each engine to address original defects. Technicians recondition the long block to factory specifications, replacing wearable parts or machining them to OE standards, then test and calibrate the engine.
