The VEGE DFDH remanufactured long block crate engine is a 4.0L/245 cu. in. assembled engine with cylinder heads included. VEGE describes its remanufactured long blocks as a foundation for budget-minded builds and as drop-in replacements for a range of stock vehicles; other applications may require retrofitting. Confirm the recommended engine for your vehicle before ordering.
VEGE says each engine is reverse-engineered to address original defects, then reconditioned by technicians. Wearable parts are replaced or machined to OE standards, and the engines are tested and calibrated. This engine is sold individually and includes an oil pump and gasket.
