Description
The VEGE DFDN remanufactured long block crate engine is a 5.4L/330 cu. in. Ford Modular engine with a cast-iron block and aluminum cylinder heads. It is assembled with a SOHC camshaft configuration, internal balance, a 9.0:1 advertised compression ratio, and a one-piece rear main seal.
VEGE says its remanufactured long blocks are reverse-engineered to address original defects, then reconditioned by technicians to factory specifications. Wearable parts are replaced or machined to OE standards, and the engines are tested and calibrated. Confirm application fitment for your vehicle before ordering; the source does not specify vehicle compatibility.
Included: cylinder heads, oil pan, timing cover, oil pump, and gasket.
Not included: intake manifold, carburetor, throttle body, distributor, valve covers, water pump, harmonic balancer, flexplate, flywheel, air cleaner, spark plugs, spark plug wires, computer, wiring harness, or supercharger.
