The VEGE VCRE is a remanufactured, assembled long-block crate engine with an actual displacement of 4.8L/294. It is intended as a foundation for a replacement or project build; confirm that this engine is recommended for your specific vehicle before ordering.
VEGE reverse-engineers its engines to address original defects. Technicians recondition the long block to factory specifications, replacing wearable parts or machining them to OE standards. The engines are tested and calibrated, according to the manufacturer.
Included: cylinder heads, oil pan, valve covers, timing cover, oil pump, and gasket. The intake manifold, carburetor, throttle body, distributor, water pump, harmonic balancer, flexplate, flywheel, air cleaner, spark plugs, spark plug wires, computer, wiring harness, and supercharger are not included.
This engine is sold individually. Check the parts and accessories required for your installation, as many components must be supplied separately.
