Description
The Wilwood AERO4 Big Brake Rear Brake Kit (manufacturer part number 140-10941-R; Summit Racing part number WIL-140-10941-R) is a rear disc brake kit for qualifying 5-lug applications. It is designed for GM 8.5- and 8.875-inch (12-bolt) truck differential cases with a large C10 axle housing flange measuring 3.396 x 2.65 inches.
The kit includes a 14.00-inch (355.60 mm), 1.10-inch-thick vented rear rotor with a slotted surface, plus a red forged-billet-aluminum rear caliper with four pistons. BP-10 brake pads are included. The parking brake provision uses a concealed internal-drum shoe system.
