Description
The Wilwood Forged Narrow Superlite 6R Big Brake Front Brake Kit (part number 140-16458-D; Summit Racing part number WIL-140-16458-D) is a front disc brake upgrade for specified 6-lug applications. It is designed to fit vehicles equipped with CPP 2-inch drop spindles CP30106-2, CP30106-3 or CP30106-4, or Ridetech 2-inch drop spindles 11349300, 11359300 or 11369300.
The kit uses forged billet aluminum, black-finish, six-piston front calipers and vented 14-inch rotors. The rotors have a cross-drilled and slotted surface, are 1.25 inches thick, and use a 6 x 5.50-inch (6 x 139.70 mm) bolt pattern. BP-20 brake pads are included. The caliper design is intended to provide increased braking capacity; the kit is described as compatible with OE master-cylinder output and ABS functions where those systems are used.
