Description
The Wilwood TX6R Big Brake Front Brake Kit (manufacturer part number 140-13877-C; Summit Racing part number WIL-140-13877-C) is a front-axle disc brake kit. It pairs radial-mount six-piston TX6R calipers with large, slotted, vented rotors for braking under sustained high heat. The calipers are volume matched for compatibility with OE power-brake-system output.
- Front rotors: 16.00 in. (406.40 mm) diameter, 1.50 in. thick, slotted surface, vented construction
- Rotor bolt pattern: 8 x 6.50 in. (8 x 165.10 mm)
- Front calipers: Six-piston, forged billet aluminum, gray/silver
- Brake pad friction material: BP-Q
- Wheel requirement: Minimum recommended wheel diameter of 20 in.
- Offset: 0.000 in.
The kit includes front rotors, front calipers, brake pads, radial-mount caliper brackets, and installation hardware. It is sold as a kit and is not remanufactured.
Rear rotors and calipers, front spindles, a master cylinder, brake booster, and brake hoses are not included. Braided stainless-steel flex lines may need to be purchased separately for some applications. This kit has no parking-brake provision.
