The Baer Brakes Baer Claw Pro+ Disc Brake System (manufacturer part number 4301342R; Summit Racing part number BAE-4301342R) is a front brake kit supplied with a rotor, caliper, and ceramic brake pads. UPC: 00844165039211.
Its front rotor measures 13.00 in. (330.20 mm), has a vented, cross-drilled/slotted surface, and uses a 5 x 4.75 in. (5 x 120.65 mm) bolt pattern. The two-piece rotor design uses an aluminum hat; the rotor surfaces are zinc coated. The aluminum hat is designed to reduce overall rotor weight, accommodate differential expansion between the rotor plates, and limit heat transfer to the hub.
The included Baer 6P compact caliper has six pistons and is finished in red. Baer describes the caliper as machined from 2618 forgings, with a radial-mount configuration to distribute loads and internal fluid-transfer passages for a clean appearance. A matched set of ceramic pads is included.
