Description
The CORSA Performance Xtreme Exhaust System (manufacturer part number 14989BLK; Summit Racing part number CSE-14989BLK; UPC 847466015403) is a dual-exit cat-back system with split-rear exits. CORSA’s straight-through, non-restrictive design uses patented reflective sound-cancellation technology intended to reduce the low-frequency sound associated with exhaust drone while delivering a crisp exhaust note. CORSA also states that its design reduces backpressure to help the engine produce horsepower and torque.
The system is made from 304 stainless steel and has a natural finish. It includes two chambered mufflers, each with a single inlet and single outlet, plus mandrel-bent tubing. Intermediate pipes and tailpipes measure 2.75 inches in diameter. The mufflers are made from 403 stainless steel and have a natural finish.
