The VEGE Remanufactured Long Block Crate Engine 270C is an assembled 2.4L (2,359cc) engine intended as a replacement foundation for the vehicle applications for which it is recommended. VEGE remanufactures its long blocks by reverse-engineering them to address original defects, then reconditioning them to factory specifications.
During reconditioning, wearable parts are replaced or machined back to OE standards. VEGE states that its remanufactured engines are tested and calibrated as part of the process. This engine is sold individually.
