Description
The VEGE DDF3 is a remanufactured long-block crate engine with an actual displacement of 5.7L/345. It is supplied assembled with cylinder heads and is intended as a replacement foundation; confirm the recommended application for your vehicle before ordering.
VEGE states that its long blocks are reverse-engineered to address original defects. Certified technicians recondition them to factory specifications, replacing wearable parts or machining components to OE standards. The engines are tested and calibrated, according to the manufacturer.
This engine includes an oil pump and gasket. The following components are not included:
- Intake manifold, carburetor, or throttle body
- Distributor, oil pan, valve covers, or timing cover
- Water pump or harmonic balancer
- Flexplate or flywheel
- Air cleaner, spark plugs, or spark plug wires
- Computer or wiring harness
- Supercharger
