Description
The VEGE DFAJ remanufactured long block is a 4.6L/281 cu. in. Ford Modular crate engine, assembled with an SOHC cam configuration and internal engine balance. It has an aluminum cylinder head, cast-iron block, and a one-piece rear main seal. This engine is sold individually.
VEGE remanufactures the long block by reverse-engineering it to address original defects. Certified technicians recondition engines to factory specifications, replacing wearable parts or machining them to OE standards. The engines are tested and calibrated, according to VEGE.
