Description
The VEGE DFDV is a remanufactured long-block crate engine for the Ford Modular engine family. It has a 5.4L (330 cu. in.) displacement, a cast-iron block, aluminum cylinder heads, and a 9.0:1 advertised compression ratio. The engine is assembled and internally balanced, with a SOHC cam style and a one-piece rear main seal.
VEGE says its remanufactured long blocks are reconditioned to factory specifications, with wearable parts replaced or machined to OE standards. The engines are tested and calibrated. This engine includes cylinder heads, an oil pan, a timing cover, an oil pump, and a gasket.
