Description
The Wilwood Forged Narrow Superlite 6R Big Brake Front Brake Kit (manufacturer part number 140-10776-D; Summit Racing part number WIL-140-10776-D) is a front brake upgrade built around forged billet-aluminum six-piston calipers and 14-inch rotors. This application is designed to fit Classic Performance drop spindles; it will not fit stock spindles.
The kit includes vented, cross-drilled and slotted front rotors measuring 14.00 in. (355.60 mm) in diameter and 1.25 in. thick. The rotors have a dual bolt pattern for 5 x 4.75 in. / 5 x 120.65 mm and 5 x 5.00 in. / 5 x 127.00 mm applications.
Included components are black forged billet-aluminum front calipers, front rotors, brake pads with BP-10 friction material, and 1/2 in.-20 wheel studs. The kit is sold as a kit. Wilwood describes this application-specific design as compatible with OE master-cylinder output and ABS functions where used.
