The Wilwood Superlite 4R Rear Electronic Parking Brake Kit (manufacturer part number 140-15845-D; Summit Racing part number WIL-140-15845-D) is a rear disc brake kit for Big Ford New Style/Torino axle housing flanges measuring 3.562 x 2.00 inches. It combines four-piston forged billet aluminum rear calipers with an electric parking brake provision, eliminating the need for mechanical parking-brake cabling.
The kit includes vented, cross-drilled and slotted rear rotors measuring 14.00 inches (355.60 mm) in diameter and 1.11 inches thick. The rotors support these triple bolt patterns: 5 x 4.50, 5 x 4.75, and 5 x 5.00 inches (5 x 114.30, 5 x 120.65, and 5 x 127.00 mm). Black calipers and BP-10 friction-material brake pads are included.
Wilwood describes the Superlite 4R design as a rear big-brake option for muscle car axles requiring a parking brake, intended to complement front big-brake upgrades. Its electronic calipers provide static holding power, and the kit includes a control unit and harness assembly.
