Description
The Zumbrota Remanufactured Manual Transmission RMT4500C-14 is a remanufactured 5-speed unit with a cast-iron case. It is sold individually. Have your vehicle identification number (VIN) ready when ordering.
Zumbrota’s remanufacturing process includes inspections before, during, and after the build. The case is checked for cracks and excessive wear, and components are inspected to ensure they meet OEM specifications. Internal parts receive a 100% inspection, including gear-wear checks, main-shaft straightness testing, and synchronizer testing.
Seals, bearings, and other common wear components are replaced. The housing and top cover are cleaned using a hydro-blasting and rinsing process intended to restore the OEM finish. Units are shipped in high-density plastic totes to help reduce in-transit damage.
