Description
The Zumbrota Remanufactured Manual Transmission, part number RMT4500D-13, is a 5-speed unit with a cast-iron case and a 29-spline output shaft. Zumbrota inspects units before, during, and after remanufacturing, including checks for case cracks, excessive wear, and other OEM-related issues found in cores.
During the rebuild, internal parts receive a 100% inspection. The process includes gear-wear checks, a main-shaft straightness test, and synchronizer testing. Seals, bearings, and other common wear components are replaced, and housing and top covers are cleaned using a hydro-blasting and rinsing process.
