Description
The Zumbrota remanufactured manual transmission, part number RMTS5-42-10, is a five-speed unit with an aluminum case and a 5.72:1 first-gear ratio. It is remanufactured and sold individually. Have your vehicle identification number (VIN) ready when ordering.
This transmission includes a bellhousing and PTO covers. A yoke and shifter are not included.
Zumbrota’s remanufacturing process includes inspections before, during and after the build. The case is checked for cracks and excessive wear, and internal components are inspected for wear and OEM-specification condition. Gear wear, main-shaft straightness and synchronizer operation are also checked.
Seals, bearings and other common wear components are replaced. Housings and top covers are cleaned using a hydro-blasting and rinsing process intended to restore an OEM-style finish. The unit is shipped in a high-density plastic tote to help reduce the risk of transit damage.
