The Zumbrota Remanufactured Manual Transmission (part number RMTS5-47M-2; Summit Racing part number ZUD-RMTS5-47M-2) is a five-speed unit with an aluminum case and a 5.72:1 first-gear ratio. It is remanufactured and sold individually. Have your vehicle identification number (VIN) ready when ordering.
This transmission includes the bellhousing. A yoke and shifter are not included, and the shifter stub is also not supplied. The unit uses a non-bushing shifter stub design.
Zumbrota describes a multi-stage inspection process for its remanufactured manual transmissions. The case is checked for cracks, excessive wear, and other OEM-related issues before remanufacturing. Components are inspected during the rebuild to verify they meet OEM specifications, followed by a final inspection against Zumbrota’s build standards.
