Description
The Wilwood Superlite 4R Rear Drum-to-Disc Brake Kit (manufacturer part number 140-17542-D; Summit Racing part number WIL-140-17542-D) converts the rear drum brakes to discs on compatible applications. It is designed for GM 8.5- or 9.5-inch differential cases and is described for select Chevy and GMC trucks and SUVs; confirm vehicle fitment before ordering.
The kit includes vented, cross-drilled and slotted rear rotors measuring 12.88 x 1.10 inches (327.15 mm diameter). The rotors use a two-piece Spec37 design with 48 curved vanes. The rotor bolt pattern is 5 x 5.00 inches (5 x 127.00 mm). A minimum 17-inch wheel diameter is recommended, and the listed offset is 3.250 inches.
