Description
The Wilwood Forged Narrow Superlite 6R Big Brake Front Brake Kit (manufacturer part number 140-12465-D; Summit Racing part number WIL-140-12465-D) upgrades the front brakes with forged, narrow six-piston calipers and 14-inch rotors. It is application-specific and designed for use with factory drum spindles. The kit is described as compatible with OE master-cylinder output and ABS functions where used.
- Front rotors: Included; 14.00 in. (355.60 mm) diameter, 1.10 in. thick, vented, with a cross-drilled/slotted surface and Black Electro Coat finish.
- Rotor bolt patterns: Dual 5 x 4.50 in./5 x 4.75 in. (5 x 114.30 mm/5 x 120.65 mm).
- Front calipers: Included; six-piston, forged billet aluminum, black finish.
- Brake pads: Included; BP-20 friction material.
- Wheel requirement: Minimum recommended wheel diameter is 18 in.; offset is 0.210 in.
The kit includes 1/2 in.-20 wheel studs and is sold as a kit. It does not include rear rotors, rear calipers, front spindles, a master cylinder, a brake booster, or brake hoses. There is no parking-brake provision. This is not a remanufactured product.
