Description
The Zumbrota Remanufactured Manual Transmission, part number RMT4500C-9, is a remanufactured, five-speed unit with a cast-iron case. It is sold individually. Have your vehicle identification number (VIN) ready when ordering so the application can be checked.
This transmission is remanufactured with inspections at multiple stages. The case is checked for cracks, excessive wear, and other issues; components are inspected during the rebuild for conformity to OEM specifications; and the completed unit receives a final inspection.
- Internal parts are inspected, including checks for gear wear, main-shaft straightness, and synchronizer condition.
- Seals, bearings, and other common wear components are replaced.
- The housing and top cover are cleaned using a hydro-blasting and rinsing process.
Included components: Bellhousing, yoke, and shifter are not included. The transmission is shipped in a high-density plastic tote intended to help reduce damage in transit.
