Description
The Zumbrota Remanufactured Manual Transmission RMT4500D-14 is a five-speed, cast-iron transmission, remanufactured and sold individually. Have your vehicle identification number (VIN) ready when ordering so the application can be checked.
During remanufacturing, the unit receives inspections before, during, and after the build. The process checks the case for cracks and excessive wear, evaluates components against OEM specifications, and includes inspection of internal parts such as gears, the main shaft, and synchronizers. Seals, bearings, and other common wear components are replaced.
The housing and top cover are cleaned with a hydro-blasting and rinsing process intended to restore the OEM finish. The transmission is shipped in a high-density plastic tote to help protect it during transit.
