Description
The Zumbrota Remanufactured Manual Transmission, part number RMT5600D-1 (Summit Racing part number ZUD-RMT5600D-1), is a six-speed remanufactured transmission with a cast-iron case and a 1.250-inch input shaft. It is sold individually. Have your vehicle identification number (VIN) ready when ordering.
This unit includes the bellhousing. A yoke and shifter are not included.
Zumbrota’s remanufacturing process includes inspections before, during and after the build. The case is checked for cracks and excessive wear, while internal components are inspected for OEM specifications. Gear wear, main-shaft straightness and synchronizer operation are also checked.
- Seals, bearings and other common wear components are replaced.
- Housing and top covers are hydro-blasted and rinsed to restore an OEM finish.
- The completed unit is shipped in a high-density plastic tote intended to help reduce in-transit damage.
