Description
The Zumbrota remanufactured manual transmission, part number RMT4500D-4, is a five-speed unit with a cast-iron case and a 1.250-inch input shaft. It is sold individually. Have your vehicle identification number (VIN) ready when ordering so the application can be checked.
This transmission is remanufactured and inspected at multiple stages. Zumbrota’s process includes checking the case for cracks and excessive wear, inspecting components against OEM specifications, and performing a final inspection after assembly.
- Internal parts are inspected, including checks for gear wear, mainshaft straightness, and synchronizer condition.
- Seals, bearings, and other common wear components are replaced.
- Housings and top covers are cleaned using a hydro-blasting and rinsing process.
Not included: bellhousing, yoke, and shifter. Confirm the transmission application using your VIN before ordering.
