Description
The Zumbrota RMT4500D-3 is a remanufactured 5-speed manual transmission with a cast-iron case and a 1.250-inch input shaft. Zumbrota inspects units before, during, and after the remanufacturing process to check for case cracks, excessive wear, OEM-related issues, and compliance with its build standards.
During remanufacturing, internal parts are inspected, with gear wear, main shaft straightness, and synchronizer condition checked. Seals, bearings, and other common wear components are replaced. The housing and top cover are hydro-blasted and rinsed to restore an OEM-style finish.
