Zumbrota’s remanufacturing process includes inspections before, during, and after the build. The case is checked for cracks and excessive wear, and internal components are inspected, including gear wear, main-shaft straightness, and synchronizer operation. Components are checked against OEM specifications.
Seals, bearings, and other common wear components are replaced. Housings and top covers are cleaned using a hydro-blasting and rinsing process. The finished transmission is shipped in a high-density plastic tote intended to help protect it during transit.
