The Zumbrota RMTS6-650F-8 is a remanufactured six-speed manual transmission with an aluminum case and a 5.79:1 first-gear ratio. It includes the bellhousing and has a 4-bolt shifter hub. A yoke and shifter are not included. The unit is sold individually.

Zumbrota’s remanufacturing process includes inspections before, during, and after the rebuild. The case is checked for cracks and excessive wear, and component parts are inspected against OEM specifications. Internal parts receive a full inspection, including gear-wear checks, main-shaft straightness testing, and synchronizer testing.
Seals, bearings, and other common wear components are replaced. The housing and top cover are cleaned using a hydro-blasting and rinsing process intended to restore the OEM finish. The transmission is inspected throughout remanufacturing to check that it meets Zumbrota’s build standards.
